Thrift My Wedding

I bet you are asking yourself, what is Thrift My Wedding! Thrift My Wedding is a new concept using, well, using… ‘old’ items. The Haven offers a wide variety of rentals and we are always adding decor to our inventory. This new concept however will feature our collection of vintage, antique and previously used items. We have been collecting items for over twenty years and as time moves on, we continue to discover new ways to creatively use all of our ‘old’ things.

Why Thrift your decor?

First of all, thrifting your decor saves you money! Renting decor is also a great way to save money. Second, thrifting is on trend. Vintage, Shabby Chic, Boho, Modern, Eclectic… I mean seriously… say less. All of these styles have been around and many around much longer than others. Third, thrifting isn’t just a cool thing to do but it also helps save the planet. Remember that phrase: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle? Well, that is the exact concept here. When you reuse decor, you are doing your part to help reduce waste. Now, the real question is Why use our thrifts. I know I personally love the hunt of a good thrift trip and I am pretty sure that a lot of others who thrift do too which is why it’s at it’s highest trending point thus far but when something is trending that also means that the options get slimmer and usually the price gets higher. Also, confirming why thrifting is so addicting because once you trick the system and score the ultimate find you want to keep going in hopes of doing it again and again and again… well I think you get the picture.

So, what we are offering here is simply a chance to enhance your new or old decor using our ‘old’ decor. This is a collection of unique decor currently in our inventory. Search our inventory for certain vintage pieces that you have in mind, enhance your current decor that you have or maybe that you have thrifted by adding some of our pieces to create a cohesive style or use all of our pieces to bring your full decorative vision to life.

We offer styling consultations which allow you to see items, create sample centerpieces and we also plan to release mood boards using all pieces from our ‘old’ inventory.
